    I've been using my Xbox One S Controller with my Windows 10 PC for about a month using bluetooth and it worked pretty good up till recently. When I turn on the controller's discovery mode, my PC doesn't detect it. My android phone is able to detect it and
    my PC is able to detect my phone though for whatever reason, Windows 10 refuses to detect the controller.

    The controller still works via USB though I'd like to know if its possible to fix this problem.

    Idk if this is related or not but when the controller was being detected, I had to unpair and reconnect my controller to my PC repeatedly as when I set it to charge via USB and unplugged it from my PC it refused to reconnect automatically.

    I have the same problem. I think it was caused by a controller update (version from 17.11.2021). I enjoyed the new fast switching feature between Xbox and Bluetooth devices (double click pairing button).

    Switching controller between Xbox/Bluetooth devices - OK

    Xbox connection - OK

    Android mobile connection (bluetooth) - OK

    PC Win10 USB connection - OK

    PC Win10 Bluetooth connection - does not work. the pairing will be fine but controller does not work.

    Xbox One S, 2pcs XboxOne controller, Windows 10 completely updated.

    resolved issue - update Windows 10 21H2.

    There is no Bluetooth radio component in the Xbox One S console itself.

    The controllers connect to the Xbox One S the same way the controllers connect to the original Xbox One: proprietary RF. You could technically connect an Xbox One S controller to an original Xbox One, and an original Xbox controller to the Xbox One S.

    The Bluetooth functionality in the new Xbox One S controller is specifically made for connecting the controller to a Windows 10 PC with the "Anniversary" update, which has the drivers needed for the controller when connected via Bluetooth.

    You can use a regular Xbox One controller on an Xbox One S console, and you can use an Xbox One S controller on a regular Xbox One console.

    All controllers connect to the Xbox console the same way, via proprietary RF.

    If you are confused because of the addition of Bluetooth in the Xbox One S, just know that Bluetooth is only built into the Xbox One S controller (there is actually no bluetooth functionality in the Xbox One S console itself). The Bluetooth in the controller
    is just a secondary method of wireless connectivity designed solely for connecting the controller to a Windows 10 PC via Bluetooth (without the need of a
    USB adapter). It connects to the Xbox One/One S the same way as the original controllers do.
