    Connection error OneCast - Failed to connect to Xbox One.


    Hi,

    I've some issues connecting to OneCast via Ethernet Cable (Via Wi-Fi it does work normally)

    In order to get a better performance I want to connect my Xbox to my Macbook via Ethernet Cable.

    When I try to connect on OneCast the follow message appears.

    Failed to connect to Xbox One.

    "If your Xbox One is not powered on, please manually turn it on and try again. Please also ensure that your Mac and Xbox One are connected to the same network."

    The strange thing is when I try this on Wi-Fi it all works properly.

    Can anyone help me out with this?

    problem to connect with Onecast

    hi NarbeAzzura

    your Xbox might need an update that could require user interaction to complete and when there is an update the Xbox will not be able to connect to online services until the Xbox is updated

    you could try to find a screen to connect the Xbox and check if it needs to be updated

    also check if the app on mac need to be updated

    Same, my Xbox One connects to every thing fine but multiplayer will refuse to work. But I get no error codes, only dragging on session searches or failed connections to sessions.

    Is your Xbox connected to a Laptop or Computer with a Wifi card or connected directly to the router? A error code is when you test the connection and it fails it will say an error. It pops up :)

    The network settings in the xbox cosole companion app works, the issues is just with gears 5, the error message is this one:

    error : error, fail to connect xbox live, try later.
