Connecting xbox one to lg 4k oled

What a mess connecting the xbox one to my new 4k oled tv! My ps4 went like a breeze, but the xbox one was one big suffering There was no signal on the tv so I tried switching down the visuals to the lowest resolution possible by applying that crazy trick
pressing the tiny cd button and tge start button. Didnt help. Then I connected the xbox to another hdmi port with another cable, still no luck. Finally, I connected the xbox to my old tv Then I got a signal, hurray...Next step, I unchecked the 50 Hz display
frequency. The I connected, the xbox again to my new tv and, estaunishment, I got A beautiful 480 x 360 flickerin image. Wow, what a mess, amd what an image, from 4k downhill to the good old 480 x 360 with an embarassing 24 Hz output frequency, thnx Microsoft!

XBOX ONE X Bluray Player and Dolby Atmos Problems

Same here. Tv is Lg Oled 55B7V. No sound at all using Arc to my reciver . This problem is bad. X is Useless now.

Xbox One X intermittently loses HDMI signal

I have the same issue. LG OLED E6

Same issue here with my LG OLED B6. I am running it through an Onkyo TX-NR555, though. I don't have any problems with my PS4 Pro HDR handshaking, though. It seems to be Xbox One X specific, and it happens with my by consoles (my wife has one too so I
tested it, and both are in the latest alpha preview).

If I set the Xbox One X to 1080p it runs fine. It seems specific to running in 4k. It won't even get a signal in 4k anymore. I have to uncheck 4k otherwise it loses signal when trying to change reslolution for a 4k game.

I have a replacement coming from Amazon tomorrow. If that does the same then it's going back for a refund and I'm done with it all.

You must do doing something wrong. I plugged my in and it worked in 4k straight away. No issues whatsoever.

I had no problem with setting up on my LG. I actually had done it twice since I recently set up my son’s X on my tv as well.

I don't think so, Robin. I had an LG OLED 4K TV. And the Xbox One S was connected to to the LG TV and I used to play 4K games. Even if that's the case to play only 4K Blu Rays, it's still not supporting.

I have a XBOX One X connected to an OLED LG C8. If I use the Netflix app on XBOX One X then the LG will display Dolby Vision. So I know that it is passing. But If I use a 4K Bluray that has Dolby Vision, the player will only output HDR。Blu-ray
playback is already up to date.

The Xbox One S plays games at 1080p but if played on a 4K screen, it upscales it to 4K,

The One X is needed for true native 4K,

I upgraded my Xbox One to the One S at launch to get full use out the 4K media content,

Then i upgraded my One S to the One X at launch to play games and media at true 4K,

seeing that you've already tried what i would have suggested, I'm not sure of what else you can try.
