Connecting to Xbox via Xbox app

None of the steps worked! All other devices like Android phone, PC, and other windows tablet are streaming fine except the surface go. Noting that I did update the devise today to the latest build software.

In fact both units are in the same network and the Xbox IP is identified! I did paste the IP in the desired option inside the app, yet it could not recognize it.

How to fix problems signing in to the Xbox app:

• On your device, go to Xbox.com and select Sign in. If there are problems with your account, the instructions will help you solve them. If you can’t go beyond the sign-in screen, select Forgot

• If that didn’t work, select the Start button > Settings > Time & language. Under Date & time make sure the Set time automatically setting
  is turned on.
• If none of those options work, select the Start button > Settings > Accounts , then find the Microsoft account you used to sign in to the Xbox app and select Remove.
  Then go back to the Xboxapp and sign in with the Microsoft account you just removed.
  

Assuming both your surface and the xbox are on the same network. Can you go into a CMD window on the surface and ping the IP address of your xbox and get a response that they can both at least see each other on your network first?

Assuming yes, when you click to find your xbox and type in the specific IP address, what happens?

Xbox Accessories app also do not work with Xbox One S controller connected via Bluetooth !!!
