Connecting to Xbox box live on 360

can I download that if my x box 360 not connect to my x box live

No i dont, it is a xbox 360 S

Internet is connected it shows it

Only thing that isnt i connected is xbox live

My xbox box gold yearly subscription shows it is active On mricosoft.com

It's refurbished.

I'm having the same problem. Everything is plugged directly via ethernet to my Uverse box and my PC plugged into that same Uverse box can connect no problem . Network test on my 360 says Xbox Live is the issue. Did all of the steps that were suggested
in the Xbox Live troubleshooting here: support.xbox.com/.../cant-connect-to-xbox-live-wizard

And I see that some people may not be able to send messages, but it seems something else is going on.
