connecting paypal account for xbox game pass

hello, I am from India. I want to connect my microsoft account to paypal account. Paypal option is not there in payment option.

I tried using my debit card but it said Check the info you entered. It doesn't match the info for this card.

I checked each and every part twice, but then also it does not accept it.

Heya,

If you're outside of US jurisdiction, you cannot use a PayPal account to make purchases on the Xbox platform.

From an Xbox Answers post, December 2018:"You can not use PayPal account created in a non US country to make purchases on Xbox US region. You'll have to create a new PayPal account with US billing address and with currency set as USD."

I'm located in the Netherlands.

Ive purchased the (Xbox Game Pass Ultimate 2 Months).

My payment with PayPal had something to do with my bank account it would not connect with PayPal. I'd tried solving it but without good results.

Hi there,

Xbox Game Pass is $10, not $5 so you will be charged an extra $5 on your PayPal account but you should not need to enter PayPal information into anything Xbox related unless you pick PayPal as a payment method for buying things.

Yes you should be able to use your PayPal account to purchase Game Pass. However, the PayPal account
needs to be backed by a credit card or bank account as a funding source to work.

I suggest to go to your
Payment Options on Xbox One, remove the PayPal option, and then re-add it and try to purchase Game Pass again.

The €1 promotion for Xbox Game Pass requires a credit/debit/paypal account to purchase - you can't purchase it with money stored in your account (Microsoft Balance).
