Discus and support Connecting issues Xbox Application in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; I recently bought a key for sea of thieves.     Connecting issues Xbox Application


    I recently bought a key for sea of thieves. I want to play it and see I have to download the Xbox app.

    Since I launched the app it doesn't display anything but: "Impossible to connect, try again later (0x406)"

    I can't figure out a proper way to solve this problem, I didn't even had the opportunity to create an account.

    Do you have any clues on how to fix it.

    I would start off by making a hotmail account that way it wiuld be linked to microsoft already. And that way the same email and password can be used. After the app is installed its a good practice to shut down and restart the device to make sure it finalized

    Exact same issue with Helblade and MSFS 2020

    The issue comes from the xbox game bar application parameter ; the account need to be connected. This is absolutly not intuitive because I was already connected in the XBOX application.

    I found the solution after 1 day and a half ...

    The issue comes from the xbox game bar application parameter ; the
    account need to be connected. This is absolutly not intuitive because I was already connected in the XBOX application.

    All these account conexions are not user friendly

    Playback Failure (5005) happens on a daily basis now.

    It's definitely the application. X network connection is an issue. Hulu & Microsoft need to get it together this is basic fixing the application & if that doesn't work its on x1

    Correct, at this time the Xbox One SmartGlass application must be connected to the same home network that your Xbox One console is connected to in order to discover and connect to your Xbox One console.

    @EvoFool, can you double check that you have installed and are running the Xbox One SmartGlass app? This is a new application specifically for connecting to the Xbox One as distinct from the previous Xbox SmartGlass application which is used to connect
    to the Xbox 360 console. Thank you.
