    Connecting Cox mini box with Xbox One


    I am trying to connect my Cox Cable mini box (Evolution Model #: DMS2344UHDS) to my Xbox One and I am not getting any picture. I tried contacting Cox and they refused to help because it was "an Xbox issue".
    I know for a fact the issue is with Cox since I got it to work for a split second with a random cable box remote code. The Xbox sees the cable box fine but from what I can gather, the remote code seems to be the problem. The remote code that is used during
    the auto-setup (which I found out was several different ones) didn't work at all. One did work for about 2 seconds (C4097) before complete crapping out again. Anyone know what's going on or how to resolve this?

    I recently ran into a similar issue with my HDMI throughput. I have COX cable and everything has been working fine since day one, except today the video/audio was freezing so bad i had to connect it straight to the TV. I tried resetting the cable box and
    xbox 1 numerous times with no success. The cable box kept showing an error code which cox says is a connector problem. Hopefully this isn't a hardware problem with the port. It was very nice having that capability!

    Two remote issues: Samsung TV, Cox digital cable mini box Cisco DTA 250HD

    I've had some success with this!!

    I'm using the Cisco DTA-250HD box with Cox Communications. I was able to control the box by positioning the cable box at an angle towards the Kinect and then manually entering the code information.

    Device control --> cable or sattleite box --> remove cable box --> cable box set up --> enter it manually --> cox cable communications --> select Cox --> enter it --> dta250hd --> select DTA250 --> set IR Delay to slow
