Connecting a xbox one controller to windows 10 laptop

    So I have a Xbox one controller and a charging cable, but when i plug it into my Windows 10 laptop, nothing happens! Im past trying to go wireless... Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Sorry for the limited info. I will try to answer/clarify any question as best i can!

    Hi. my windows 10 and xbox one wireless controller are updated. same issue cant connect wirelessly and windows pairs even when my controller is turned off/not even plugged to laptop. Connecting a xbox one controller to windows 10 laptop :(

    Couldn't pair with xbox wireless controller because of an incorrect pin or passkey

    The Xbox One S controller's bluetooth functionality is not supported for smartphones of any kind.

    The only official drivers for the controller were released for Windows 10, meaning you will need a laptop or desktop (with BT connectivity) running a fully updated Windows 10 installation.

    Was doubtful at first, since I got a different controller to buzz with the same cord, but this did end up being the case! Thanks!

    I think your laptop is connected on the wifi… and maybe your Xbox too.

    To get 100% working streamer use ONLY ethernet cable for both.

    So if I understand you correctly, you are streaming from your console to your laptop, and you have your controller connected to the laptop with your earbuds connected to the controller?

    How is your controller connected to the laptop? Via MicroUSB cable or via the Xbox wireless adapter for Windows 10?
