Connecting 2 accounts same console on Minecraft please Help!

It seems that you are trying to play the game and access Minecraft Worlds created when you are using a guest account after adding your own account into the console but cannot access it. Let us check and see on what we can do to help address your concern in a timely manner.

It is possible for both you and your husband to be signed into the Xbox and play Minecraft together on the same console. However, you will need to make sure that you are both signed into separate Xbox Live accounts.



To access the world that you and your husband have been building, you will need to make sure that you are signed into his account as a guest. Once you are signed in, you should be able to see the world and join him in it.



If you want to access the world when your husband is offline, you will need to make sure that the world is saved to his account. Unfortunately, you will not be able to access the world if it is saved to his account and he is not signed in.

First thing to know is that all DLC and Games downloaded from Xbox Live Marketplace are tied to the first console and account who purchased them.

So for example Minecraft is tied to console A and the account that purchased it, but can be played by ALL account on that console (console A).

If you want to play Minecraft (same example) on console B (the one you are setting up), you have to stay connected to Xbox Live with the same Account that purchased the game, otherwise it will be showed as a trial/demo.

Your best solution to share games and DLC within the two xbox is to move the accounts between console and stay connected to xbox live.

Each account needs separate gold memberships or yes, you can purchase the family plan. If you're only planning on having 2 accounts though, the family plan might not be the best idea. The family plan is really only a deal if you have 4 accounts and there
have been some issues with the plan that haven't been worked out yet.
