    Connect XboxOne Controller to my PC using USB


    I can't connect Xbox One controller to my PC(Win10) using USB. Xbox one is displayed as "Unknown Device". I deleted controller from devices list, restared my computer, installed 64-bit drivers for controller and that didn't work. Moreover, I tried to choose
    Xbox driver manually, but I can't find any xbox-related drivers in my list. Tried driverquery and found xboxgip, nothing more.

    The drivers should already be built into Windows. You shouldn't need any additional downloads, if your computer is up to date. Do you have all of the system updates installed? Are you on a Windows Insider build per chance?

    Does the device show in the Xbox Accessories App on Windows 10? If you do not have it installed, download it from the store and check if there area any other App updates there that might be available, in addition to any system updates you might have,

    Do you connect the handset to the controller? When I use the XboxOne controller on the PC I use the headset on the controller.

    Hi Keith, There are two ways to connect an Xbox controller to a PC: with a USB cable or via Bluetooth.

    Connect with a USB cable

    Plug one end of the USB cable into the USB port on your PC.

    Plug the other end of the USB cable into the USB port on your Xbox controller.

    The controller should automatically connect to your PC.

    Connect via Bluetooth

    Make sure your Xbox controller and PC have Bluetooth.
    Activate Bluetooth on your PC.

    Press and hold the pairing button on the Xbox controller for 3 seconds.

    The controller should appear in the list of Bluetooth devices on your PC.

    Select the Xbox controller from the list and click "Connect."
