    I thought that may be the case. But then I wondered why my 4K Amazon FireStick can still play everything in 4K. I mean, I can just watch all the 4K stuff on the FireStick and call it a day. But it just bothers me that I finally got a 4K tv and the Xbox

    Yeah, tried 3 different HDMI leads in all the 3 HDMI ports on both TV's and none of them picked up the xbox signal, the leads and ports worked fine with other devices like a blu-ray player, satellite box and Amazon Firestick.
