Connect XBOX 1 Elite Controller Series 1 to Mac?

Discus and support Connect XBOX 1 Elite Controller Series 1 to Mac? in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; am under the impression that this controller does not support Bluetooth/wireless connections.     Connect XBOX 1 Elite Controller Series 1 to Mac?


    am under the impression that this controller does not support Bluetooth/wireless connections. Even if it does, my 2023 Mac M2 still does not recognize it (running the latest update). I have tried connecting it with a micro USB wire and adapter to my Mac, but it still isn't recognized. Are there any solutions or software I should know about to solve this issue? Is this controller just too old to be recognized? I am trying to play Hollow Knight on Steam with my controller. Steam in big-picture mode also does not recognize a controller being connected.

    Xbox elite series 1 doesn't.have bluetooth which came out after the first.gen xbox one controllers

    The series.2 and.later xbox controllers have. Bluetooth

    Best controller for playing is with no doubt the elite series 2. I do not know if there is some orher type of third party controller that can have some better connectivity/personalization. But in general, series 1 and 2 of the elite are top
