    Connect multiple controllers to USB dongle


    Hi there, I bought a USB dongle (CSR 4.0) to connect my Xbox controllers X|S series,
    but it can only connect one at a time.

    I have tested the controllers with another PC with built-in Bluetooth and it works fine. I have tried updating the dongle's driver, changing ports, etc. but nothing works.

    Does anyone know if it is possible to make this work?

    Windows 10.0.19041

    Dongle CSR 4.0*

    Controller XBox X|S series

    Tried device manager > Bluetooth > update driver > browse my computer > (generic adapter, generic radio, and bt dongle 10)

    Do you have the Dongle for the controller? Usually, they suggest getting the USB dongle( Xbox one direct) instead of the basic connect.

    Unfortunatly xbox does not support usb headsets. All headsets need to be connected by 3.5 jack to the controller. The only exception to this is if you purchase a wireless headset and then the dongle connects to the USB.

    Power off your xbox while connecting to PC

    Follow these steps:

    1. Insert the USB dongle into a USB port on your computer.
    2. Turn on your Xbox One controller by pressing the Xbox button.
    3. Press and release the connect buttonon the dongle.
    4. Press and hold the connect button on your controller, and release it when the Xbox button stops flashing.

    Cant find the solution anywhere! Cant Update Xbox Series X controller's firmware

    Unfortunately, I do not have another device with a usb type-c connection nor a bluetooth dongle to connect the controller.

    Guess this will have to sit in the current firmware.
