connect issue using onecast looking for help

Hi, guys looking for help.

I'm an Xbox one s owner.

I also have a wife who doesn't like to share TV so much.

So I got onecast so I can play on my mac whilst she watches TV - shes pregnant I don't want to upset her.

I can recognise the Xbox.

I can get asked for my log in credentials

then I get this error code

6002:7006:0x800488A6

can anyone help me?

Simple Wired Network Connection Question

This is a simple Network connectivity question for XBOX One.

My simple question is: when plugging in a wired connection via ethernet, are you automatically connected or do you need to go into settings and choose the wired connections or if there are additional steps done on the XBOX after you plug the ethernet into the
Xbox.

In short: i will be going to Europe and like to bring my Xbox. I have been informed that there is only ethernet accessibility of internet. I plan on using OneCast, because I have a Mac, to play Xbox while overseas and will not have a TV. I hope that by
plugging in the ethernet, I will not need to choose any additional settings and that i can connect to OneCast easily this way.

Hi,

The reason, I get this error, is because my account is under "updating of security info" and I have to wait a friggin MONTH for Microsoft to implement it. They think it makes the account more secure.

I know this is the reason, because, I created a new microsoft account, to test, and I could successfully login and register Onecast with it.

So my answer to you is, there is probably something going on with your account, similar my own issue, with updating security information. Because I got a new phone number.

I have tried that set up using onecast beta program and my vr headset. Recently beta insiders gained access to xcloud streaming app. After briefly using it, it feels the same. Onecast it was creating an issue with my elite controller that I didnt notice
with this app. My concern is whether we must purchase this service too or would it be included with our membership?

Hey Strub,

Through the Microsoft App store? From what I can find, Tormaz is correct here. When looking at the One cast app in the Microsoft store, you see that the developer is no longer maintaining this app.

Though when I look at it, it shows as free. Maybe we are looking at the wrong app? But no other OneCast app shows up here.
