    I want to remove my account from my xbox one so I can give it to my Brother, yet every guide I look at talks about deleting the account, which isnt what I want. Is there a way to do this?

    If you just wanted to remove your Xbox profile on your console, you can simply do this:

    -Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

    -Profile & System > Settings > Account > Remove account

    -Select the account that you want to remove, and then select "Remove" to confirm.

    -Once done, select Close.

    Alright, But now Im realizing its probably better to factory reset it. Will I lose my Xbox account if I have it connected to another console?

    If you factory reset it to remove everything, This option resets the console to factory settings. All user data, including accounts, saved games, settings, home Xbox associations, and all games and apps will be deleted. You can use this option when selling or gifting the console.

    And no, you won't lose your account if you signed in on a different console. Though it has limitations, please don't share your credentials with anyone whom you don't really know. If you sign in on a friend's console, ensure that you logged out after.

    I'm gonna try to explain you how this all works.

    First of, does she have a own e-mail address? You don't have to mention her address here, but if you know that email address you can recover it right here if you know some questions to answer.

    Thats an account i'm talking about. A 'Microsoft account'. Then you have a Gamertag You could call that a Xbox Profile thats attached to the Microsoft account.

    If you still know the password, or you are you've succeeded the recovery process, you can download the profile to the xbox. On how to do that you can read that on this support page.

    All xbox profiles which are made on xbox.com are unable to get the 1 month trial Xbox Live Gold. The only way to get the Gold status is to create a new account on the xbox. But you need a new e-mail address for that with no profile attached.
