    I remember migrating my minecraft account to microsoft 2 years ago when they were urging us to do so, and I have a confirmation email on September 1st, 2023 that says:

    However, when I tried to log in to minecraft, I realized that I didn't remember which microsoft account I linked it to--I just assumed it would be the same email as the email my minecraft/mojang account had been linked to since they emailed me the confirmation of the migration. I tried to log in to microsoft using any email I remembered, but they all either didn't even have an xbox game profile made yet or they said "buy minecraft java" even though I am supposed to have an account that I transferred over from mojang.

    Please let me know if I will be able to retrieve my account back since I don't think anyone else has been having access to it. I don't understand why they would send me a confirmation of my migration, but when I try to check all my microsoft accounts, none of them seem to have my minecraft account already there.

    Hi Lucas,

    When I log in to the Minecraft website with my current Microsoft account, it says I don't own Minecraft. I do have the confirmation email about the migration, and the confirmation email from when I transferred my Microsoft account.

    Hi, I did migrate my account. A guy from the Minecraft support confirmed that.

    I asked Minecraft support to tell me which Microsoft account was linked with my Minecraft account but they couldn't tell me that for security reasons.

    Just to confirm, have you already migrated your Minecraft account to Microsoft?
    I never had a Minecraft account. I signed up using a Microsoft account to begin with.

    i don't have other microsoft accounts and before this issue i played minecraft using this account as far as i remember. my order history is empty, but probably it is so because i purchased minecraft before migration

    i have an email from mojang confirming the purchase with transaction id in it and another email confirming successful migration

    is there a way to send these to microsoft as a proof of ownership so they can help me?

    I selected the wrong email Address sign-In to my purchased MCC Halo game in Steam

    For your Minecraft game, if you already have migrated your Minecraft account to a Microsoft account, it cannot be undone anymore. It will be permanently linked to the Microsoft account you used on the migration process.
