    Computer not seen as device on my Microsoft account


    Hello,

    I've bought the Xbox Game Pass for PC in order to play Rise of the Tomb Raider, however in order to install it on my pc as opposed to just being able to do it as if it were in my Steam library for example, my pc needs to be registered as a device on my Microsoft
    Account. I have followed the instructions given to me to do so but it just doesn't work, I've repeated them 4 or 5 times, and it's been 6 hours since my last attempt, still nothing. I just want to play a game, I appreciate any advice you could have.

    Can't Signoff of Xbox on Public Computer

    Well, that was interesting.

    When I went to https://account.microsoft.com/devices/ ,

    all four of the public computers that I had played Microsoft Minesweeper on showed up as devices associated with my Microsoft account. I removed all four of these devices from association with my account.

    Unfortunately, we rebooted one of those devices, and it still associated both Bing search and Xbox with my Microsoft account.

    Also went to https://account.microsoft.com/privacy/activity-history , but did not see any association of public computers to my Microsoft account.

    Still doesn't seem to be any way to break the association of my Microsoft account with these public computers... :-(

    Let me know if you have more ideas.

    Add a device

    The only devices I have ever seen associated with my account are PC, laptop, Xbox One, mobile phone and tablet. These are all devices that can login to your Microsoft account. A controller doesn't have that ability, so wouldn't show in devices connected
    to account.

    Seen on xbox not on my computer with zune.

    I'm guessing you bought the HD version, if that is true, then this movie is only available for playback on your Xbox console.
