    Computer FIle Transfer From Xbox One


    Hello, I've recently been playing a lot of Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2017) on my Xbox One. And now that I have game pass, I've been wondering something. I have an Alienware computer too. If I were to use a proper USB, would I be able to use it to copy Battlefront save data on my Xbox, then download Battlefront on my computer, and download the Xbox save data files onto my computer and have the same game on my computer? The xbox files would be transferred to my computer. Would that work? This question has been bugging me for a while. Could someone please just tell me if this would work or not? I'm deperate.

    No. Xbox files are not made to be seen via a PC and vice versa without violating the terms of service. Since that game doesn't support cross-saves, you would start the game over on the PC if you play it there too.

    You would have to purchase it on pc.as it's not an play anywhere title.and no xbox files arent readable by pc

    And it would be upto the developer to support cross saves

    Hi there Vanessa welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. Unfortunately, this isn't possible, you could move the game to a USB drive or an External Hard Drive!

    Transfer files to your computer then format USB to Xbox then transfer files back to USB and see if that works.
