could be due to your government laws and restrictions on games. The availability in the region. As you already had to refund one, that was purchased in different region, we suggest not to buy any other ones if they are not in your region. As there is nothing

You have to have a gold membership to download free games and qualify for the deals of the week for gold. Trials will not allow you access to these deals. If you have gold, try purchasing it off the xbox.com. It is showing free for gold members.

You should be able to purchase games at a lower cost if they're in the weekly Deals with Gold which can be found here www.xbox.com/live/deals-with-gold .

Only the account that has purchased gold can access gold deals. Since the child account would have access to gold because you are sharing it with them, they would not have access to gold deals. You can purchase the games on your account and they can access
them on theirs or you would need to add gold to their account.

That is not a mistake. If you would like to take advantage of the deal you would need to purchase the game and season pass separately.
