Complimentary 1 month Xbox Live

I talked to support and went through their troubleshooting steps and they said I should post here to get further assistance.

I created my xbox account for my son and I saw the free month offer, of course we clicked yes but as we did out internet was disconnected from our xbox, now when I restart my console I can no longer see the month code nor on any other accounts being made
on the account. The support lady Isabella said that I could be able gain compensation or a way to resolve this here. Hope to hear from you soon

Lost power supply and no gold membership came with the letter

When I sent my Xbox one to get fixed, I put the power supply in there as well. And when it came back, There was no power supply with the package. And the letter that came with it said there was a complimentary xbox live card with 1 month of gold and that
was not there either.

1 Month Xbox Live Gold with new purchases of XB1?

When I brought my new Xbox 360 Slim console, it came with a

"Here's 1 month of Xbox Live Gold on Us" a leaflet which had a code.

Will new Xbox One consoles both pre-order/day one, and standard editions, come with this complimentary voucher?

I don't have to worry about Gold with my account, but it's a good idea, since an Xbox One console will set many people back a bit.

Sorry but there is nothing anyone can do here to help with that. Usually only an account created on the console can access the free one month trial.

However, you should contact phone support again. I had this happen once when helping a friend set up their first account. Phone support provided them with a code for one month of Gold.

Have you checked billing.microsoft.com to see if you have any credit in your account? That's the only thing I can think of. It won't necessarily tell you that it's there.

I too have received the same thing but instead of a 12 month Live Gold which it states. The code says its for a 1 month Live Gold.

It strikes me as much more likely that they need a way to 1) justify removing it for people who didn't pay and 2) cover up their mistake.
