    Completely incorrect Broadcast OTA information


    Hey Xbox,

    I put my postal code in for OneGuide info but the Broadcast TV region that your system decided to place me in is Windsor, ON, when it should have been Kitchener, ON. As a result, I got all the wrong channels for my region. I looked up a different postal
    code in Kitchener and used that one instead. This time it gave me the London, ON region, which is a little closer, but all of the channels are completely incorrect. Not a single one of them is where it's supposed to be for either region, some of them have
    duplicates right next to each other (ie. Global on channels 4.1 AND 6.1 for whatever reason - it's supposed to be on 41.1), and basically, this is completely unusable.

    I got my Xbox One primarily for the TV features and right now it looks like it's being packed up and returned. Why can't we customize our channel lists?

    I know this is an old thread but there are 16 other OTA broadcast channels missing from channel guide for Chicago also I've tried different zip codes for the guide with no luck.

    OTA will work, but there's a few things to do:

    1) You need some type of receiver to carry the OTA signal to your One's HDMI in port

    2) Select "broadcast" from the provider list in setup

    3) Recognize that some of the OTA receivers might not work especially well

    Missing channels in OneGuide even though they're found during setup (UK Freeview)

    I had exactly the same problem. I managed to fix mine last night. Firstly reset TV and then retune the TV. When it asks the service (after you put in postcode) select freeview. I had an option to select Freeview OTA Broadcast or something like that. Just
    select Freeview. It will then try to pin you down, so I selected Freeview OTA Broadcast. After tuning it showed all the channels in the oneguide. Hope it works for you too.

    Well thanks for your worthless two cents, because it's an issue with the console/app not initializing the USB port connected to the OTA. It has nothing to do with the programming being broadcasted. Stay in your lane, and know your role.
