Complete seasons missing for TV serieses? Error or intentionally?

Hello everyone,

just wanted to ask this, as the regional xbox Support could not anwser this.



Is there a Special reason, why certain seasons of TV serieses are missing?

E.g. Season 1 and season 3 of the same series are available for purchasing, but not the second season?

Would it not make sense to offer the second season for purchasing as well?



Is this an error which should be reported? Because i noticed this with other serieses as well and was wondering,

if that is intentional or a content error not showing all seasons correctly?

Hope anybody, preferebly xbox Support, can answer this.

playback error on xbox video???!!!!??

just bought the complete first season of shameless. Watched a couple episodes and now its saying:

media usage rights playback missing

Any advice please!

I purchased the full Season 701, and Episode 6 is not present. The actual page for the Episode is present, but it has no streaming option, only a "Download" button. I tried downloading, but it took only a couple seconds to complete, and an error appears
when trying to play it:

c00d36c4 (corrupt file, or video not supported by Xbox 360)



I purchased the entire season, meaning this episode was paid for (I even verified this in my purchase history).



Please help.

 

You'll need to tell us what country you're in and what Series & Season you're inquiring about.

 

Alright, for example in the german marketplace the series suburgatory has 2 hits if you search for it there on xbox video and in the first search result you get shown 3 seasons but only season 3 in the original form with german subtitles is available although
the result shows 3 seasons.

The second hit in the search reveals suburgatory again with 3 seasons and when i click on that one, it shows season 1 and 3 but not season 2.

Those ones are dubbed in german with no subtitles.

So the question is why are the search results 2 times showing 3 seasons but in one case you can only purchase season 3 and in the other search result you can only purchase season 1 and 3 but not season 2?

Hope that helps to clarify that with an example? Nobody at german Support could answer, if this is related to licensing or intentional or just an error which should be fixed?

 

Thanks, I'm checking on the missing German dubbed Season 2. It looks like it fell off the service recently.

The reason only Season 3 is available as English w/ German subtitles is because the content owner hasn't sent us the previous seasons in that format.

 

So it is showing 3 seasons because there exist 3 seasons but the owner of the license only provided season 3?

And the other one seems to be an error so it would make sense to ask for investigations from the Support in those cases.

No need to contact support, they're going to contact my team about the issue. We've contacted the content owner regarding the availability of the German dubbed Season 2 that has been removed. As soon as I have more information regarding that I'll pass
it along.
