    Compensation for Xbox live being offline


    Hi all,can we get some kind of compensation for xbox live services being offline due to service issues,this is the second time in a week and its ufair that we all pay for this service which is a great service when its working may i add but when it goes down
    it seems to go down for hours and hours,the last issue i had was last week where i couldnt contact my online contacts on my list and vice versa,i ended up waiting 7 hrs for this to be corrected,i really dont know how long this recent issue is going to take
    to fix but would appreciate something back even if its a 48 hr Xbox live passcode or some sort of token to show that we are appreciated by microsoft because in my opinion this outage is because of a recent update of xbox or server update,either way its not
    the consumers fault plus i feel i am paying Microsoft to be a beta tester rather than them testing the updates before they release them,if that makes sense?

    Many software and hardware companies do this but with Microsoft being such a huge company they have the funds and resources to not do this or is it that they just dont care as long as they get paid we all suffer.

    I would be grateful if someone could answere these questions just so i have some understanding and actually feel like i am a valued customer of Microsoft.

    It would be nice if Xbox does give some form of compensation but unless it's a serious outage that lasts multiple days, I dont think they will.

    You can not expect it to be on 24/7 365

    But that is exactly what i pay for...i pay my internet provider to provide me internet if by chance it goes down my internet provider gives a small token gesture to show that you are valued,same as electricity and gas companies. So if i have paid for a service
    i would expect it to be on 24/7 and not have an intermittent service or is Xbox live not a service for consumers? Or is it just another greedy multibillion dollar company that just exretes over the little person?
