Hi,

I was trying to log in into my Xbox account in order to play Sea of Thieves, but the following message appeared:

Message: AADSTS50020: User account *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***' from identity provider 'https://sts.windows.net/68cdfebb-157b-4846-ba2f-d196a9124ac0/' does not exist in tenant 'Microsoft' and cannot access the application '71dada86-21db-493b-93e4-1a902601f30f'(OneRenderFramework [wsfed enabled]) in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Sign out and sign in again with a different Azure Active Directory user account.

Could anyone help me with this? I had the game on this account, but if I can't access it, I was also wondering if I coudl transfer it to another account? The account was linked to my uni, but since I left the uni my e-mail account was deactivated I suspect it might be linked.

Sounds like it's related to your email account being deactivated, though how the MS system would know that is a different matter.

My understanding is that game saves etc are not transferrable

alas, these steps haven't solved the issue...

I would like to precise that I am on a PC. I tried contacting the Xbox support team, but there seems to be some technical difficulties with the support.

Do you think I can try and ask to have the game transfered to one of my other e-mail adresses? I don't really feel like paying for the game twice ^^

Well, there's never any harm in asking....worst they can do is say no. I suspect the answer will be no...whilst you would think the odd case would be fine, trouble is if they do it for a few, then they'd have to allow it for everyone which then leads to all sorts of messes with fraud etc

Have you tried asking the University if they can temoporarily reactivate the email? Worst they can also do is say no but if they could reactivate it for 24 hours or something, it would allow you to resolve this

Hello There ! I highly recommend following the troubleshooting steps here to resolve the issue:

After each step try to see if the issue is fixed!

First, please select Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

Then, select System > Settings > account > remove accounts and then select your account and select Remove to confirm.

After you will need to perform a quick power cycle on your console, hold down the power button for about 10 seconds, until the console shuts off, then unplug the power cord and wait for 2 to 3 minutes before plugging it back in and turn on the Xbox.

If you are still encountering the same issue, please select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps.

Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.
