Comcast (ISPs): Xbox ruined my external hardrive

If you have had the drive less than a year, then it should still be in warranty. Contact Seagate for a replacement

Can't Update & Go Live, Error Code: 40A3-0000-3080-0300-D000-0185 & 40A3-0000-3080-0300-D000-0185

what i did to fix it was got an external hardrive put all of my staff on my xbox harddrive and put it on the external

and i formatted the xbox hardrive

then i run the update and it worked

External hardrive

Hi im thinking off getting a external hardrive for my xbox one my question is will i be able to load my games from disc onto the external hardrive or is it for downloads only

Unplug the external drive.

Reset the Xbox back to factory settings.

Run through the latest Xbox update, and then plug in the external hdd.

a volunteer told me to do that on support, I did it and nothing worked
