    Hey there Dye Young2,

    Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this problem with your new console.

    I would say that if you are getting disconnected from pretty often and your network is good, then I suggest trying the steps our on "My Xbox
    One is getting randomly disconnected from Xbox Live    " on our website.

    Give that step a shot and let us know how it helped out with the issue.

    Had internet on Xbox before. Got a new Comcast internet box. Now Xbox tells me it can't connect. Bad wpa2 or something. Anyone help

    I forgot to mention that it would disconnect again after 30mins of being reconnected to the network.

    Try removing the account from the console, doing a hard restart, hold the power button for 10 seconds while the system is on, and then re-adding the account.

    thank you for the reply. I contacted Comcast to request that the modem be put in bridge mode. The advisor said he put it in bridge mode but I still can not connect to xbox live. Same result when I run the connection test. network, internet, and xbox live
    all say connected. The Comcast advisor said its an xbox problem and im sure Microsoft will say its a Comcast problem. So iam on the merry go round. not sure what else to try

    Just chatted with Xbox Customer support, they said it had something to do with Comcast cable. Comcast internet service was down and they are trying to fix the issue right now. After 2 to 4 hours if you still could not connect to Xbox live try to update your
    Xbox or clear system cache.
