    Comcast: Now getting disconnected from game servers every hour or so.


    Comcast (ISPs): Now getting disconnected from game servers every hour or so.
    Setting up a DMZ didn't seem to work, but I'm retrying it as I don't think it was set correctly the first time. I also tried a UPnP refresh (turning it off/then on) to reset the NAT table, but that did not work either.

    I can confirm however it is happening exactly at 1 hour. so at :35 of every hour, it will disconnect me from the game server. Xbox live services are still running and I can sign right back into the game.

    my next step is to call my ISP and see if they notice anything on their end.

    Whenever I'm online, which is most evenings and on the weekends. It happens every hour, exact same time. I will try to get in contact with my ISP again and ask them to take a closer look. Just to be clear, the disconnect is
    not random. I know when its going to happen by the time and plan around it if i'm in a multiplayer game.

    Is your router getting to hot? They will reset and shut down if they get hot disconnecting you.

    Thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry to hear about the double NAT type connection.

    I recommend to
    create a static IP for the console when doing the
    port forwarding on the network
    configuration settings for a better connection. Do you know if the ISP created one for the Xbox One? This will ensure the IP address used for
    the console is designated on the network configuration settings.

    Try this out and let us know the results.

    Still having an issue. I contacted my ISP who directed me how to properly do port forwarding. It worked to some extend. It works for once reset, but seems to break after that.

    Hey Otter thanks for keeping us in the loop!

    We also suggest looking into
    Port Forwarding     since this would guarantee a stronger connection to the internet by opening the routers channels. Give it a shot and let us know how it goes!
