    After the current update, there is a combing glitch that occurs in the upper part of the screen. It doesn't matter if it's a disc game, a downloaded game, or a back compat game, it's present in all.

    You may get a kick out of this, but I switched to then second HDMI port and the issue is gone. I appreciate your effort. Sorry for wasting your time.

    I've power cycled the console and and changed the HDMI cable and the issue persists. It doesn't show up in the video capture, but it does in games and only games. Videos run just fine.

    Sure thing, in the meantime. Did you tried something?

    For example, test with a different HDMI cable, connect the console to a different HDMI port or screen

    Power cycling the console

    (1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

    2. Unplug the console's power cable from the console and from the power outlet. Wait 5 minutes.

    Important: Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes. This step resets the power supply.

    3. Plug the console power cable back in.

    4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on)

    In case you didn't tried something yet, try performing the advises above
