    Collapse/Expand bug in the latest Xbox app beta


    When the app is maximised, if I use the "Collapse" button at the upper left, the app collapses but looks like this: -

    So it doesn't extend neither to the left edge of my screen, nor the bottom. The expected behaviour would be for there to be no gaps at the left/bottom.

    Then when I use the "Expand" button, it looks like this: -

    Again, a gap at the left edge and bottom, rather than going back to being maximised. The expected behaviour would be for the app to go back to being maximised.

    I'm using a 2,560 x 1,440 monitor. I don't know whether that makes any difference.

    I've reported it via the app itself too.

    Certain issues still not fixed in Xbox beta 15.15.3016

    I just installed the latest beta. The maximise bug is still there: -

    1. Start with the app maximised.

    2. Watch a friend's Game DVR clip from your feed.

    3. Press the "full screen" button to make the video full screen.

    4. Press the "exit full screen" button to make the video windowed.

    At this point the app is no longer maximised. The expected behaviour is for the app to go back to being maximised.

    The collapse/expand bug is still there too: -

    1. Start with the app maximised.

    2. Hit the "Collapse" button. Rather than the app filling a slice of the screen on the left, it has a gap at the left and bottom edges.

    3. Hit the button again to restore the app to full view. Rather than the app going back to being maximised, it has gaps at the left, right and bottom edges.

    The expected behaviour would be for the app to fill a full slice of the screen on the left when collapsed, and to return to its original maximised state when expanded.

    Also, if you minimise and maximise the app, it refreshes your friends list, which is strange behaviour IMO.

    I've reported these bugs via the app itself, including screenshots.

    This is still not working properly. When using the collapse option, the app doesn't fill the left segment of the screen, as you would expect it to. Sometimes when using the expand option, it does go back to being properly maximised, but other times it doesn't.
    It seems a bit hit and miss.
