    Cold War on series x going back to dashboard or resetting the entire console


    I bought the Xbox one version of Cold War on disc and it worked fine for my original Xbox one I eventually upgraded to the series x and it worked fine, but now it won’t launch it goes to a black screen the either goes back to the dashboard or shuts off the console is this happening to anyone else or is it just me

    Cold war freezing

    Anyone's xbox series x freeze up playing cold war zombies? Mine only freezes us playing zombies campaign fine, MP fine but zombies up in the later rounds my xbox shuts off and I have to turn it back on. I have 120fps/hz on no ray tracing on. So
    is this an xbox problem or a Activision problem cause I'm very disappointed and getting ready to send my series x back.

    Modern Warfare 2 Freezing my Series X

    I had a similar problem with my Series X (got it at launch) when playing Cold War. Turned out I had an over heating issue that caused my game to crash or reset my console. I had luck going the after market route, but I HIGHLY recommend contacting Xbox support if your console is still under warranty.
