    Cold War Black Screen Crash On Series X *FIX*


    This is only a temorary fix until Activision release a patch for the issue, this may not work first time nor for everyone however it worked for me, when you run the game instantly tap the xbox button on the control, the game should now load up in the backgroud, wait until you can see the start menu before you press the xbox button again, it may take a coupe of attempts and possibly a hard reset of the console (power button for 10 seconds)

    I hope this gets you guys back in the game and please send a message to ST4FFY BULL so i can see that it still works and people are getting the info.

    Maybe you have the Xbox One version of COD Cold War and you see that message because the Xbox One version cannot be upgraded to Xbox Series X. You can find more informations about COD Cold War editions here:

    From what I can tell, to access the Series X version of the game, you need the Cross-Gen bundle...once you buy that, you should then be able to download and install the Series X version. Without the cross-gen bundle it will, presumably, just install the XB1 version

    From the Store page:

    "For digital owners of the Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War Standard Edition, this upgrade will unlock the Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War Cross-Gen Bundle, giving access to the Xbox Series X|S version of the game. After upgrade purchase, search in the Xbox store for the Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War - Cross-Gen Bundle to install the Xbox Series X|S version of the game."
