    Cold War and Freezing on Xbox Series X


    Call of Duty Cold War is unplayable for me due to it freezing and crashing back to the Xbox home screen. I can play for a short while, sometimes it doesn't even load a game before it freezes.

    I have checked the version is the X/S version. I have tried factory reset. Multiple uninstalls of all data and reinstalls of the game. Switched ray tracing off. I am wired in and have good connection.

    Other games seems to do it too, but occasional. Not compared to Cold War. All I can find on internet searches is about the version / ray tracing and none of my peers with the series X or older consoles are reporting the issue.

    Is anyone else getting this, do they intend to even fix it or should I go about getting a refund cause my time and money is wasted so far.

    Or is it my console?

    Cold war freezing

    Anyone's xbox series x freeze up playing cold war zombies? Mine only freezes us playing zombies campaign fine, MP fine but zombies up in the later rounds my xbox shuts off and I have to turn it back on. I have 120fps/hz on no ray tracing on. So
    is this an xbox problem or a Activision problem cause I'm very disappointed and getting ready to send my series x back.

    There are problems with this game, it is better to avoid playing it until its developer removes a park, be careful!

    Maybe you have the Xbox One version of COD Cold War and you see that message because the Xbox One version cannot be upgraded to Xbox Series X. You can find more informations about COD Cold War editions here:
