    Coincidence? Forza 4 and Xbox died when accidentaly turned off while in game.


    2 Xbox One's dead within 2 days of each other. Scenario: Xbox One X playing Forza 4 and 15 month old manually turns off the console mid race. Machine wont start back up fully, I do a factory reset and then have to continue to do factory resets. Luckily
    this was under warranty so I shipped it off. Xbox One Orginal playing Forza 4 and my baby turns this one off too mid race. I go to bed and go to play over lunch today and nope, nothing, cant even turn this machine on. I have unplugged all power and will check
    back later.This could wholeheartedly be a coincidence and I hope this hasn't happened to anyone else. If so please share.

    Installing Forza

    I think you have to leave it on while it installs from disc. This is because I tried seeing if i just paused Forza and turned off the Xbox, if it would just let me resume the game when I turn it back on. When I did it just restarded Forza. I don't know
    though maybe you can.

    I wouldn't say it is a coincidence. However shutting down anything mid operation is not good for it

    It's best to contact Xbox Support for this issue, here: https://support.xbox.com that way they can troubleshoot with you live, and try to pinpoint the cause.

    I turned off the voice commands and gesture options and let the glitched save load while on the dashboard (hit the Xbox "home" button as you load the save). This worked for me...coincidence, maybe?

    Achievements issue while in HDR

    Can confirm that. Same behavior.

    HDR supported, playing Gears 5 and Forza 4, but any notification making my screen to turn off HDR for a few seconds while notifications in SDR are displayed, and then again several seconds of darkness while HDR is enabling again in game.

    Particularly Xbox Game bar achievements and volume UI when i want to change my sound.

    Pretty crappy HDR implementation.
