Codefusion error when trying to open Metro Exodus on Windows 10 Xbox Beta

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. Try this out :

1. Open run window (Windowskey + R)

2. Type %appdata%

3. Delete the Metro Exodus installer/folder in the roaming folder (You should be in it already).

4. Go back one folder, then you should end up in Appdata

5. Go to "Local" - Delete the Metro Exodus installer/folder in there too. You can also get to the local folder by typing %localappdata% in the run window.

Double check in your task manager that anything involving Metro Exudus or the Xbox beta app is closed out.

Aside from that, please use the built-in feedback tool within the Xbox app to help us better understand the issue you are facing. Just click on your profile photo and select “Feedback” from the dropdown menu to open Feedback Hub. Feedback Hub enables
you to provide feedback about Windows and apps by sharing your suggestions or problems.

You are correct. I guess my app is not reporting correctly on my phone. Probably because there are two versions. Using the Xbox Beta app on Windows 10, search for Metro Exodus (Windows).

Unless there is some regional issue going on. I'm not sure why it wouldn't be in the store. I apologize for my earlier answer. Hope you get it working soon.

Thanks for the advice the windows update worked fine and has updated my windows to the newest version but when I use the xbox (beta) program I can install games without admin permission fine but when I come games like metro exodus which require admin approval
it just errors every time it doesn't even start to download. I have tried the page that you gave and it hasn't changed the problem I still get the same error code when trying install these games.

I don't play Metro Exodus on the pc, but I did some digging around and it seems to be a common occurrence with the game not running on Windows 10. I'll link you a thread with some ideas, but the general consensus is that right now nothing is fixed until
the developer patches the game.
