Hello ive been searching for the internet and xbox support on what to do with this problem it seems that i realy cant get the code and it always says....

This code was my friends gift for my bday and we both live in france but the problem is everytime i put the code I always get the same message i even change my xbox region to france and still....nothing happens ....is there a way to do something even just
change the code i can even show you a screanshot that the code is really true ..

Hi there,

there are a few things that could cause this, first thing to check if your friend bought the code in the French region store, as second thing be sure to have the console set to the official language so French in this case.

Last thing to check is your account region, this can be done on this link: Sign in to your Microsoft account it will show your account region. If it's different from
France then you might have to change the account'sregion by migrating the account.

If all should be fine then it might be best to contact Xbox Support (via Phone) at Contact Us | Xbox Support

Is the code from the region you reside? It could be a code from a different region - contact where you purchased the code.

You've bought a code for a different region by the looks of it. Purchases are usually region specific, so I'd speak to where.you purchased it.

You cant. Your friend will have to request a refund for the code and purchase a code for you that is meant for your region.
