Code for GOW Ultimate Edition Not Working in Brand New Sealed Xbox One Bundle

I hope someone can help. I purchased a brand new sealed Xbox One console (with the downloadable GOW Ultimate Edition) from a UK retailer Tesco.

The console all set up without issue - however, after scratching off the intact silver from the download card included in the box - the code is not recognised. It doesn't work from either the console - or by logging on to xbox.com and entering. Interestingly,
the game code didn't work, but the Skin download codes did work, so the card is partially correct.

I spent 45 mins last night with Xbox Support after which they couldn't tell me what was wrong with the code I have on the card and said I have to go back to the retailer about it. Funnily enough, the retailer doesn't have any idea about what could be wrong
with the card inside the sealed, xbox bundle.

Xbox support said that the retailer needs to "release" or activate the download code....? Does anyone have any insight on this, or experiences something similar???

I'm extremely annoyed, because my spanking new console is sat doing nothing, when I should be playing GOW!!!

1329479942 - Reference number - Missing Gears of War Ultimate Edition Codes for 2 & 4

Hello, I contacted XBOX ONE support for invalid codes for Gears of War 2 & 4. I purchased the GOW Ultimate Edition bundle and received a working code for GOW 3 - but the codes for GOW 2 & 4 were invalid. Could I please request new codes for GOW 2 &4?

Haven't Received the Gears of War codes i was promised.

I purchased the Gear of War Ultimate Edition Bundle on Xbox one on December 25th, and I haven't received the codes for the GoW 1,2,3 and judgement.

If you bought the bundle brand new/sealed it should have had a card inside with the code on it.

Hi, I guess I didn't communicate clearly. I bought the XBox One special edition Quantum Break bundle (www.xbox.com/.../special-edition-quantum-break-bundle)
and there was no code for Quantum Break in the box. I'm not talking about windows 10 promotion - I mean no Xbox One code for Quantum Break at all. There was a code for Live Gold trial and a code for Alan Wake that I redeemed on my main account. It was a sealed
box, new. I have the serial number if necessary.

The code that comes inside the collectors edition should not expire, to check if they do or not, I am redeeming mine now (I've saved them this long, it's mad!

OK, I had two codes with mine. one on a small piece of card, the other on a large folded piece of lighter card. The smaller card's code worked, this is the limited edition content. May I ask how you obtained your collectors edition? For instance was it pre-owned?
Or brand new and sealed?

If it was pre-owned then the previous owner has most likely already used the codes and not kept them in the box when they traded the game in. If the edition was brand new/sealed, then the code should be inside the game case.
