COD WWII Winn lot launch

Fresh install of call of duty world war II will launch to the boot screen but then crash back to the Xbox main menu and display the following error message.

"Update needed.

You need this update but we can't get it at the moment. Try again in a while (0x8b050033)

Xbox Live support had me do the following.

Reboot.

Uninstall/reinstall game.

Uninstall/profile

Factory restore Xbox one.

Clear cache

Delete saved games (none as game has never launched)

Nothing worked and Xbox support advised me that they can't do anything and I have to contact Activision. Activision support is non existent.

Hi there Pharoah welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. It seems you have tried everything but we have two options:

1.- Open the Xbox Guide by pressing the guide button on the controller and select

Settings.

Select Network Settings.

Select Advanced Settings.

Under Change Settings select Alternate MAC Address.

Select Clear.

Allow the console to restart when prompted.

Then unfortunately I suggest contacting Activision or Xboz

Oh my, let's hope they fix this issue, a lot of users have encountered the same exact issue!

Xbox ran out of options and says to call Activision.

Activision customer service is non existent.

Thanks for the suggestions, unfortunately I have followed your advice and the same error persists
