CoD WWII installation stops Series X

Having the external storage unplugged did not work. However, the remote install from the Xbox app seems to have worked. Game is installing right now.

• Do you have any external storage units plugged into your console? if you do, please unplug them and try installing your game directly on the console's internal storage unit.

• If you are not using external storage units, give this a try:

- Go to Settings > Devices & connections > Remote features, and enable remote features for your console.

- Clear your download queue.

- Eject your disc.

- Download the Xbox mobile app and link it to your console.

- On the mobile app, search for CoD WWII.

- Tap "Download to console", this will trigger a digital installation for this game.

Once the installation is complete, insert your disc so your console can read its license and allow you to launch the game.

Wow....hard to choose. I would say the modern warfare series. Of course CoD WWII was pretty good as well.

Who knows we shall see what they have in store, but I think we will never see another wwII game from the cod series. Why doesn't activision branch out and make a wwII series? Kind of like have a seperate series from mw and all. It could be called call
of duty of the past.

You're trying to prove WWII games have not been played to death because there are so few? Except my point was on topic and in relation to the Call of Duty franchise specifically.

-The first Call of Duty, now an arcade title: WWII

-CoD 2: WWII

-CoD3: WWII

-CoD WaW: WWII

-And the spin offs for original Xbox, Finest Hour, and Big Red One: both WWII.

That would be 6 CoDs set in WWII. Not counting the spin offs, you still have 4, compared with 3 modern ones, and 1 in the Cold War. Now explain to me how WWII has not been 'played to death' in Call of Duty, and why it would make sense for them to return
to it, instead of doing something they've never done before?? Something fresh, and new?
