COD MW2 cross gen. Where is quick play or any other game modes

Ok, so I purchased the cod black ops, thinking maybe I could play that until I got the other problem situated. But it did the same thing, so I subscribed to the Game Pass that is prompts you to subscribe to, and it now allows me to play them both. I did the $24.99/3 months. F'n sucks that it makes you have to subscribe to play all the game modes. It's mostly for my kid, so now he'll have to do more chores to cover the Game Pass subscription.

Hi, brand new xbox series x, bought cod mw2 cross gen game disc, installed, but only allows dmz or battle Royale, I Uninstalled the game and reinstalled, and same thing. Unable to get to Quick Play, or any other game modes COD has. When I click on the actual game is makes me choose Game Pass A or B. Almost like the game is not there and/or i need to purchase a game pass to play it, or repurchase the whole game. Does it require a previous COD game on the xbox for the cross gen to work properly? Need help! Thanks!

I have the exact same issue and can’t figure it out. I’ve downloaded all of the updates etc and still says I need to purchase the game pass to play even though I just paid $70 for the game. Very frustrating!

If you look at your account.Microsoft.com it would probably be the charge for the cross gen mw2

HOWEVEr if you are trying to refund the mw 2 cross gen then no as mentioned you played it

Mw2 vault edition. Is a upgrade to the base game not a replacement

You wouldve had to buy the cross gen to play vault edition

I don't think you realize what you bought

When you buy the vault edition you MUST have the base game to play it

The vault edition code only gives you the additional dlc NOT THE game

I honesty wish they would stop making more cod garbage. It get ridiculous and old really quick. Honestly how some ppl say this is like mw2. Its not i played mw2 the other day for about 10 mins, I was like where that mw3 lol. Mw3 is better that mw2, but not
black ops though.

Hello ICELion7, I think there should be some confusion with the themenologies.

Cross-Gen Bundle means you can install the game on both the regular Xbox One and the new generation.

In addition to installing MW2 on the console and PC with the same game license it would have to be Playanywhere, which is not the case with the Cross-Gen Bundle, it was made only for xbox.

And if the MW2 is cross-platform it will allow you to play with people from other platforms like PlayStation, and PC.
