    This was how a got access to cod data packs,which i could not access previously.first i made an Activision account on my phone , signing in with my Xbox one account.then i got Xbox live gold, which i didn't have before.when i turned on tge game and went
    to installs ,all the data packs were now available for download.i think doing Activision sign-up not thru Xbox but on separate device helped as could not access Activision when signing up with Xbox. Hope this helps someone,a very frustrating situation that
    has been unnecessary.

    Hello Justin,

    I understand your problems and I think I have a solution.



    When COD says missing data packs it should have an option that says go to Microsoft store when taking you to the Microsoft store it should bring you straight to the missing data pack and and the store it should have an option that says install.

    Modern Warfare not working on Series X

    If you go into Warzone, you will see Data Pack 3 listed. There was an issue with Data Pack 3 not showing up, so going into the Warzone tab on the main COD menu can somehow make it available. I had this "Missing Data Pack" for MW issue and I solved it by using Warzone to update my Modern Warfare Multiplayer.
