COD Brightness hijacking

Discus and support COD Brightness hijacking in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; So, got an xbox one. COD:AW.     COD Brightness hijacking


    So, got an xbox one. COD:AW. Fire it up, it goes through the initial screen settings where I lowered my brightness. Played the game, all was fine.

    Turn on the xbox later to watch netflix, and I can barely see the screen. COD it appears has completely hijacked the brightness for everything.

    My tv is set to standard, and I've tried upping the brightness in game, but it just isn't enough.

    The tv looks great for all other uses. Turning on the xbox ruins it all.

    Please.. suggestions? I'm so frustrated with this right now.

    Brightness

    yeah i tried messing with the contrast on my monitor but it didnt help , BC2 calibration was much better. Ive resorted to dropping the brightness by 6 notches for metro and the night map (i forget what its called) its not too much hassle as im right next
    to it but id rather not have too. My monitor controls are touch sensitive so its not the easiest job

    Aren't there in game settings for brightness? Change those and not your TVs settings.

    Thanks for the reply.

    Yes, there is an in game brightness, but as I said, it wasn't enough. Odd, I know. You'd think that would have been it.

    Further, why is in game brightness carrying over to the entire xbox? None of it makes sense to me.

    I had to factory reset the xbox. Everything is back to normal now. =/

    No thanks. He's too bright for any of these Cod maps. Wouldn't be able to hide in bushes anymore.

    It does get a lot of hate. I dislike COD's small maps but I still look forward to the smallest map that each COD has. I'm guessing Hijack is BO2's smallest.
