COD Black OPS II Freezes at Start Up on XBOX One Microsoft has no answers PLEASE HELP

I've spent hours with an online support agent trying to fix why COD Black Ops II freezes at start up and automatically exits to the home screen. We tried everything from the console factory reset to what ever you can imagine. This was the initial issue
we had with the digital download. So we uninstalled and purchased the actual game disc. Same problem. All other backwards compatible games work fine on our XBox One. You'd think a billion dollar company could help with this but no. I don't think
I can spend any more time chatting with online support going through multiple things that don't help. Does anyone out there have any real advice to help the Microsoft Engineers fix this problem. My kids had this game when they had their Xbox...does anybody
think that their previous game data could be causing this issue or is there any account issue that could be causing this issue. My son is just really excited to play this again becuase he doesn't have his original Xbox any longer and he's been patiently
waiting for the backwards release. PLEASE HELP!

Black ops II Multiplayer freezes.

I log in to my account, then I start COD: Black Ops II.

It starts... got Blackscreen.

Xbox freezes while Blackscreen.

I need to restart it by hand.

And that is everytime I start Blops 2.

Black Ops 1, Modern Warfare 2, Battlefield 3 and Minecraft work perfectly without freezes.

If I don't log in to my account and play with Player 1, I can play campaign and zombies, but still not Multiplayer, if I start Multiplayer it freezes and I need to restart the Xbox by hand.

Please help.

BTW: Default starting for BO2 is Multiplayer.

edit: Fifa 13 works too.

Sorry to hear about your troubles with Call of Duty. To start out, have you tested the game with other profiles on your Xbox One or only with your son's account? Also, can you please clarify what type of storage device you're using with your Xbox One? Thanks!

 

Yes we have tried with another user other than my son. We have tried both an external hard drive and the xbox one internal storage. Both are a no go.

When you performed the factory reset, did you select the option to erase all content, or the option to keep Games & Apps? If you attempted the latter, let's select the option to erase all content. It's a bit of a hassle, but it's essentially the nuclear option.
