    Cod AW digital freeze buzz


    I was having the same freezing error with Campaign Mission 4 - Fission. After Kevin Spacey's sit down sequence with the boys the game would freeze. I eventually bought another Xbox One and the 'same' game still freezes at the 'same' point. Frustrated
    with this game. Any thoughts?

    I own the digital copy and whenever i try to get on multiplayer the screen freezes for about five minutes and then it kicks me off back to the xbox dash.

    Turning off my console and unplugging everything from the back and leaving it for 5 minutes seems to have fixed it for me. Time will tell, but atleast I'm able to get in a match now.

    First I was experiencing the issue with split screening not even being able to load a match. Then it started doing it playing by myself. Couldn't get online at all.

    But turning the console off, unplugging everything for 5 minutes and trying again got me into an online game. I'll let you guys know if anything changes.

    I created you a new thread for you to receive catered support! I'm sorry to hear about what you're experiencing when playing campaign on CoD: AW. To get more clarification, I have a couple questions to run past you.

    1. What version of COD:AW do you own - Disc or Digital?
    2. When you install the game, do you wait for it to fully install 100% until you start playing or do you play it as soon as it's playable while it's still installing?
    If you haven't already, give these troubleshooting steps a try to see if it helps to sort things out.

    • Power cycle your Xbox One console.
    • Once the console is off completely, unplug all cords from your console.
    • Leave everything unplugged for a few minutes.
    • Plug your console and cords back in and turn it on.
    • Try playing Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare again

    I tried restarting from a previous checkpoint and that seemed to do the trick. Thanks again for the help.

    It's probably a bad sector of memory. Check your optical drive, too, mine was bad as well. When I had this issue, I factory reset my Xbox one, downloaded a few gigs of free games, then downloaded cod:aw. Thus bypasses the bad sector.

    At least you guys can play something. I freeze at the opening video when the game first starts. I play other games on my XB1 so it cant be the system. Any help would be great.
