COD 3 Ranked Match Revival Group

It seems there is a lot of both nostalgia for COD3, as well as for it's now long dead ranked matches. This has become apparent through playing the game recently, browsing forums such as this one, the groundswell of support for the two new WW2 FPS games on
kickstarter, and many others things such as Twitter posts and Youtube comments. It also seems that there have been some attempts to revive ranked matches as evidenced by a couple of threads on this forum, but obviously nothing concrete. From talking to folks,
if there was a time set up where they could be guaranteed some quality ranked matches, they would be all aboard.

I created an online group for this purpose which through the use of scheduling tools (calendar & polls), should allow for such ranked matches to be both scheduled and attended by sufficient number of people.

The only thing you need to join the group is an email, and if you do not wish to use your personal one, just create one on gmail or something. Tried to create something as impersonal as possible that could still accomplish the necessary tasks.

Once a sufficient number of people join the group, the tools can be used by the community to schedule and organize matches. Thus, please join and spread the word so we can get this up and running as soon as possible.

Revive cod 3 ranked matches

Unfortunately they will never go back to the CoD 3 format. They know they can make millions out of the perk/kill streak formula. Little kids can run about no scopeing people with bolt action rifles or hide in a dark corner the whole game just to do kill
streaks. The CoD series now just gets duller as they have run out of ideas. Makes me laugh, people moaned about WW2 games and now for the last seven years it's just modern shooters. =(

Best time for Ranked in the UK, GMT is around 12-4am. (when the cheating Yanks are on ruining this glorious game).

 

I would be interested if you could get enough people, no one really wants to play ranked games these days though.
