Cobalt game just crashes when you try to play online.

Every time me and my friend try play this new game online it just crashes I already contacted support and the problem couldnt be determined, microsoft always pushes games out before there ready and then they dont even work. I payed $20 bucks for a broken
game thanks microsoft.

GH3 Crashes When I Try To Play An Online Game

That has happened to me too.
For some reason it would just crash when it said "setting up game"
A few days later i did not have a problem. What i did change was to list all the games rather than just jump into the 1st game.

Still happens now and again though

How do you make it list all games?

It happened again to me but I cleared the cache again and it worked.

Then I just played Rock Band online which works fine every time :thumbsup:

I don't have any problems with any other online games including Halo 3 and GTAIV so I know its just a bug in GH3.

Single Player is fine. Pretty good actually.

But any attempt to play multiplayer online, whether hosting or joining, results is a crash - Audio freaks out then eventually crashes to xbox home.

are you able to try it from any other network connection just as a test? from a friends internet or tether from your phone? does it sign into your live account all ok and download games all fine? i will be honest and have never heard of it just crashing
when you try to play a game online before......

All of the add-ons are installed and they still don't appear when I play. I'm also missing the cobalt and topaz weapon skins.

I don't know if this will help, but my friend could not start an online game without it crashing. He found that if you weren't trying to play spllt screen but another gamepad was on, but not signed in with a profile, it caused a crash when you tried to start.
He had the other pad on while it was hooked to the console charging the battery. He found the fix in one of these threads and it allowed him to play online.

Cobalt, that's not true at all! You can play with your friends (who aren't in the red) - you just need to join their game or be invited into them 1st. Do that, and you'll have no problem getting your rep back up to normal over time.
