co-op issue

anybody having an issue with the co-op mode? my friend and i just get an error message.

Co-op Championships issue

Up to now I was assuming when finishing a co-op championship counted as both completing and ticking off the map (or so it felt like it)

But last night myself and a friend discovered that only the host was "completing" the champs we did.

Is there a setting we should be using or not using in order for this to work?

I've got the enhanced version installed, just released on the 9th...my quick join option is in black and when I try to highlight / choose that it just skips over it, absolutely no quick join at all. Also I can be invited into a friends game and have played
in it twice but cannot invite anyone into my game. Per the Dying Light tech support I've cleared the cache to no avail...
