CMD popping up and closing instanly when installing minecraft launcher

This is very weird. The minecraft launcher icon popped up on my screen again even though i didnt install it. I checked the store and it showed that it still was not installed.

still get the same pop up, I have the game installed on the minecraft launcher I believe, I dont know if that changes anything.

best solution is to just update the launcher, so go to the Microsoft store if the launcher doesn't say so, and find Minecraft and click get i think, it won't necessarily say update, but get, it will be grey, be sure to have your launcher closed before this, then when its downloaded/updated click play, and it would pop up with the new launcher it will look the same however when you try to log in via Microsoft, you'll notice it will be different as it would open a dark window, aka Xbox. and that fixed my issue,

I have the same issue and not working deleting profile.json file. The problem is that when i start minecraft launcher, the launcher and the microsoft store open at same time but microsoft store glitches and only can be closed after closing minecraft launcher with Task Manager or reseting the computer.
