Cloud streaming on huawei mate pad

Hi all

I got an huawei matepad for Christmas and I subscribe to game pass ultimate but its unplayable on the tablet just keeps freezing on me

my network is perfect and I couldn't be any closer to the router

I tried it on my phone (Samsung A21s) same issue freezing and disconnecting all the time

I've tried the vpn and dns fixes and updated controller but it made no difference

This is really frustrating the only reason my wife bought me the tablet was so I could game during the day when my daughter has taken over the TV

If there is a patch or update coming out that anyone knows of I would be happy but if not then this subscription is a waste of money

Thanks for the reply I tried a game on the phone with touch controls through cellular data and alas I had no joy and I have great coverage here

We've established it's not the wifi

Tis both annoying and disappointing

I suggest trying to play a cloud based game that supports touch screen controls, i.e. not with an bluetooth controller, some people get WiFi disturbed by bluetooth..

And test if it works on your phone using mobile network (not wifi).

If that works, then it is probably your WiFi that is bad. Try changing wifi router settings, I suggest setting it to the SLOWEST possible 5G speed, i.e. 802.11a only. Xcloud streaming only needs ~10 Mbit/s speed, but the connection has to be super solid,
i.e. no bit errors/packet loss.

Higher WiFi settings (e.g. 802.11ac) gives a higher speed, but also more bit errors/packet loss.

Try this sitting close to your router.

My router is Huawei HG531 v1, the same of this picture:

I didn't ask to ISP. I didn't do because i randomly can use xbox wifi (for example, two days ago i watched a tv series episode in streaming) and because first weeks it worked without any issues.
