    Hello and happy new year.

    I have this question:

    Will cloud saving work and how if I mod stardew valley? I ussually play in 2 differents pc and wanted to know if I will be able to transfer my data correctly between them if I put mods in the game. (I play it from the xbox app on windows, i have the pc game pass)

    In the xbox app it says it can be modded and has cloud saving

    I can't say for sure 100% (as I'm not that knowledgeable with modding) but, as long as you have enabled the same mods on both PCs, then I don't see why you wouldn't be able to open up the save in either PC.

    It will need a second opinion here though as my knowledge is not good enough to say for certain

    Hi,

    Not sure, try it and see.

    Stardew has been designed to be modifiable (it installs to the Windows ModifiableWindowsApps folder). I would like to assume it works the same as other games that support mods.

    According to this link the game will store a local save to:

    %localappdata%\Packages\ConcernedApe.StardewValleyPC_0c8vynj4cqe4e\LocalCache\Roaming\StardewValley\Saves

    So you should be able to use this between systems.

    Stardew Valley - Xbox Cloud Saves

    I have gamepass installed on my PC, but when i try to play it using cloud gaming on the same PC my save is not there, both appear to be running version 1.5.. any ideas?
    Cloud gaming uses a xbox one to run the games, so it can't sync the saves
